"We can do hard things." - Meagan Farrell

We’d like to share with you an incredibly moving team story. A story of a family coming together to honor their beautiful girl, Masey.
Masey was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer at 3.5 years old.
She was treated at UW Carbone Cancer Center and received 21 cycles of different chemotherapy protocols, plus a stem cell transplant and lobectomy. She even participated in two separate clinical trials.
Masey’s mom, Meagan Farrell, says her treatment options ran out and Masey passed away in April 2023.
Team Masey Moose was created to help researchers fund critical research and patient treatment initiatives to help future patients turn into survivors. They set a fundraising goal of $7,000 to honor what would have been Masey’s 7th birthday, and they have already raised nearly $10,000.
Meagan sat down with Amber Noggle from WKOW and shared their team story, you can watch that story here. We are deeply grateful for Team Masey Moose’s dedication and for sharing Masey’s story with us.
